Located on the very edge of the North York Moors National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty, yet close enough to several thriving market towns and cities.

York House Caravan park is set in 4 acres of beautiful North Yorkshire Moors Countryside yet only a short drive to the coast. We have 59 pitches with electric, and 41 Privately owned statics.With being a family managed park, you are guaranteed a friendly welcome and clean well run site.

Hawsker is a small village in beautiful countryside having many footpaths and cycle ways. There is a local pub, providing good food and beer, families are welcome. On site we also have a cafe and licensed restaurant. We are situated less than half a mile from the old railway line, which makes easy cycling / walking to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough. Whitby is less than 6 minutes in a car or on the bus.

Overlooked by the Hambleton Hills and nestled in the lovely hamlet of Balk, which is only 3 miles from Thirsk. York House has the countryside on its doorstep and provides a fantastic gateway to the Moors and Dales, even the East Coast town of Whitby can be reached within the hour.

If you want to stay closer to home the Park is set in 23 acres and there are walks available directly from the Park, alternatively spend the day relaxing in your accommodation or why not make use of the facilities with your lodge or holiday home and enjoy dining al fresco on the terrace. Whilst being a quiet family park York House also caters for younger families; offering a fantastic 5-acre play field, a coffee shop and indoor play area.

Should you feel more energetic or just fancy whiling away the time by the water, horse riding, mountain biking, golf and fishing are all available in the area.
