About Vicarage Field Caravan Park

Welcome to Vicarage Field Caravan Park, we are situated in the picturesque and beautiful village of Allonby. Being next to the village church you can hear the lovely bells every Sunday while relaxing on a lovely Sunday morning

We operate a twelve month holiday licence with no closed period, which means you can come and go as you please all year round. We unfortunately don't have any pitches for touring caravans/tents and also don't rent any caravans out.

Philip, Wendy and eldest son Jamie all own and run the park, then there's Dean who is travelling at the moment, and Tyler. There's also Philips father, Barrie, who calls down to offer a helping hand with the odd jobs and gas bottle delivering etc.

We have a recently refurbished laundry and a small games room with pool table, snacks vendor and football game. (see Gallery.)

in June 2013 we completed the total renewal of the sewage system, installing a brand new Klargester treatment plant which completely transforms raw sewage to clear water, totally self contained. We will continue to invest like this in the park in the future.

We are endeavouring to maintain the friendly, helpful community spirit which Vicarage Field is known for. Our house is at the entrance to the park and our door is always open. (almost) Although we encourage total relaxation here we also appreciate that people need their modern 'connections' that's why we offer Wi-Fi on site to cater for busy lifestyles. And the kids if course!

We have 70 pitches here and welcome pets and children, also I think the fact that we have a waiting list to own a caravan on here is testament to our dedication and friendly atmosphere.

So come and speak to us, have a walk around and speak to the current Holiday Home owners on Vicarage Field and then decide if you want to be here, as they are the best guide to whether or not we are doing things right.

We are situated right by the beach front, just minutes walk from your caravan door to take in the breathtaking sunsets Allonby is famous for and the cycle/walking track that runs from Maryport to the other end of Allonby. We are also only a two minute walk to Twentyman's famous ice cream shop and the other amenities of the village, including The Ship Hotel, Jacks Surf Bar, Spring Lea Leisure Centre, Allonby Café, West Winds Tea rooms and The Codfather Chippy.
