About Sycamore Lakes Park

Whatever your interests may it be touring & camping, staying in the cottages, log cabins or apartments, becoming a lodge owner or just a days fishing you can guarantee a warm welcome by Joy, Jose & the team,

We are a husband and wife team with two sons, Scott and Miles. We have lived at the Lakes since 1985. For the first 8 years we lived in a mobile home whilst building the business. In the early days we both had jobs outside of the lakes to support the stocking, maintenance and the addition of the cottages named Rouen, Pintail and Mandarin which are all close to the Roadside Lake.

Following that the renovation of the original house that are now Mallard and Teal cottages. The Woodland Lake we excavated in 1995. All the other lakes are brick pits that have been lovingly restored. Then the addition of the self-catering Log Cabins were made which are also proving very popular and nestle nicely near the Island Lake. The Cabins are Eider, Muscovy, Goldeneye and Aylesbury.

Easter 2004 the Touring and Camping Site opened which is adjacent to the Specimen and Island Lakes. The touring site has a separate entrance as shown on the site plan, the site has been awarded 4 star by the Quality In Tourism. Nest the Static Site, it has a woodland setting with panoramic lake views.

All the new plots have a waterside view, they are concrete based with electric, water, mains gas and BT lines. Bases are laid biennially so that there is always waterside plots available for customers viewing who wish to purchase a static caravan or lodge anytime of the year.

Now The Lakes Restaurant that serves Breakfasts, Lunch & evening Bar Meals. For menus, music night & other events check out the restaurant link above. The latest additions above the restaurant, very central to the 4 fishing lakes are two Holiday Apartments Eagles Nest & Jenny Wren.

Whatever your interests may it be touring & camping, staying in the cottages, log cabins or apartments, becoming a lodge owner or just a days fishing you can guarantee a warm welcome by Joy, Jose & the team.
