St. Tinney Farm is a peaceful place with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We are a small family run business who strive to offer a personable, professional, friendly and high quality holiday experience often lacking from larger concerns. A former working dairy farm, St. Tinney now offers an excellent standard of self catering accommodation, just a short drive from the sea and magnificent beaches of north cornwall. Our beautiful, unspoilt and secluded valley has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest by English Nature, due to the abundance of wild flowers and wildlife. Visitors are free to wander and explore our 34 acres of land, following the nature trails as they wish. We love the landscape here and take our stewardship of the countryside very seriously. Our conservation efforts and respect for the environment have paid off, being 11 times winners of the prestigious Gold Award for Conservation by Professor David Bellamy! Although set in a peaceful location, St. Tinney is conveniently situated 1 mile from the main A39 Atlantic Highway. This makes us an ideal setting for exploring the year round delights of both Devon and Cornwall. We are located in the tiny hamlet of Otterham (place of otters), referred to as Otrham in the Domesday Book of 1086, where it appears to be described as a fortified settlement. Going further back in time, ancient people have certainly left their mark on the area, with many Tumuli (burial mounds) and earthworks. Archaeological evidence found on the farm and surrounding areas include ancient Cornish horse armour and stone tools, suggesting that people have lived and worked the land here since the Stone Age (for more than 6,000 years). St. Tinney Farm is a small family orientated holiday park, owned and run by Michael, Elizabeth, Mark, Philip and Simone Windley and their families.
