You are only a few steps away from nature in our wonderful rural location, so why not try one of the wooded, farm and river walks and the chance to spot some wildlife.

Deer, badgers and foxes have all been noted in the Springwood nature diary, along with a wide variety of wild flowers and birds along the River Teviot which winds round the edge of the caravan park (perfect for summer riverside picnics).

We are a real family-friendly caravan park, with a play area, games room and table tennis to keep the kids occupied and busy, not to mention free broadband wifi available for all pitches. Shops aren't a problem either with the market town of Kelso just over a mile away.

Springwood Estate is beautifully situated in rolling countryside and farmland in the centre of the Scottish Borders. The holiday park is surrounded by woodland and pastures, with the River Teviot winding close by. Find out more about our wooded, farm and river walks.

If you ever want to leave the delights of our caravan park, you will find that the Scottish Borders is a superb holiday destination with everything from ancient abbeys and castles to the latest in downhill mountain biking venues, from fishing and horse-riding to delicious local produce and excellent restaurants.

Just a mile and a half down the road lies the town of Kelso, one of the most attractive of the Borders towns, with its fine market square and attractive shops. Kelso Abbey and the Rennie Bridge are historic highlights and if you head up Roxburgh Street towards the world-famous Floors Castle and gardens, you might spot the horseshoe set into the cobbles to commemorate the visit of Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745. A golf course, swimming pool, ice rink and race course are among its sporting facilities.
