About Radcliffe Park

Radcliffe Park nestles on the banks of the River Trent and has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. If one of your past times is fishing, the park has its own wooden jetty where several residents moor their small boats which they use to potter about on the river.

The local pub, the Manvers Arms, serves hot and cold food daily and offers a discount to park residents. In the village you will find an abundance of local amenities including a doctor’s surgery, dentist, pharmacy and post office, all only a five minute walk away.

Radcliffe Park is located near West Bridgford on the outskirts of Nottingham, close to the National Water Sports Centre and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground. The village has a local active cricket club and is close to some excellent golf courses, notably Cotgrave.

For residents who like to be active there is the Cliff Walk (which takes you along the river to nearby Shelford village), or perhaps a visit to Memorial Park which is a recreation ground and skate park, with a complex of sports fields. There is also a lively amateur dramatics group who stage regular productions at The Grange Hall, as well as numerous other clubs and associations.

For those residents who prefer a more sedate pace, why not take a gentle stroll around the park on a summer’s evening or have a picnic along the river bank, where there is an abundance of wildlife for you to enjoy.

Radcliffe Park is all about peace and tranquility and has undergone improvements including; resurfaced roads and newly fitted ornate Victorian street lighting. The majority of plots have their own off road parking.

Radcliffe Park is considered a perfect place to enjoy your retirement.
