Patterdale Hall Estate is a 300-acre private estate located in the breathtakingly wonderful Ullswater valley. We have six Cedar Chalets, three Pine Lodges and two Stone-built Bothies all with magnificent views. Wrapped around the southern tip of Ullwater, England??s most beautiful lake, the Estate has 100 acres of ancient woodland to explore along with spectacular crags, a fantastic Waterfall Wood walk, a lovely little tarn, a private foreshore for boating or fishing, and a new picnic area with fantastic views of the lake and fells, as well as being the starting point of a multitude of the finest Lakeland walks. There are supermarkets in Penrith (13 miles) and, through the summer months, a regular farmers?? market at Pooley Bridge (9 miles). Our three Pine Lodges (sleep 6, 3 bedrooms) and our six Cedar Chalets (Chalet 1 & 2 sleep five in two bedrooms; Chalets 3, 4, 5, & 6 sleep four in two bedrooms), are positioned in a 'horseshoe' on a quiet & secure site with acres of lawns surrounded by trees. Children LOVE the site as they can explore and play together as the adults keep an eye on them from their verandas! The views are simply stunning from every property. The two Stone-built Bothies sleep one to three persons and are near to the wooden properties but have their own fantastic walled garden offering a lot of outdoor space. They are extremely popular with couples who are looking for traditional but good value accommodation right in the heart of the Lake District, and despite being on the bijou side, they contain everything you need for an enjoyable self-catering holiday. The Bothies are excellent value for money all year round and are perfect for fell walkers and outdoor enthusiasts who need a place to relax after a great day on the fells or water.
