Pakefield Caravan Park has an excellent standard of contemporary holiday accomodation. The Platinum holiday homes, with their stunning, uninterrupted sea views are available to hire and there are other holiday homes in attractive locations around the park to buy or hire. Serviced touring pitches with 16 amp electric hook ups and toilet & shower block are amongst a wealth of excellent facilities available for Touring Caravan and Motorhome owners to enjoy.

With an outdoor heated pool, a Club with seasonal family entertainment, a launderette, children's playground and a small shop Pakefield has all the facilities which provide the essential elements of a good holiday. Pets are welcome all season at Pakefield and there are some wonderful coastal and countryside walks to enjoy direct from the park.

Pakefield Caravan Park enjoys a stunning, peaceful setting on the Sunrise Coast of Suffolk. With fabulous sea views and direct access to a sand and shingle beach, Pakefield is the ideal base from which to explore the coastal resorts and villages of Suffolk and Norfolk. Within a short drive through open countryside, passing windmills and waterways, are the picturesque and tranquil Norfolk Broads. This series of connected lakes and rivers, forms one of Britain's most beautiful wetland areas, home to a vast array of wildlife, with pubs and villages along the way from which to enjoy all that the Broads offer.

Hiring A Holiday Home

Platinum - Comfort and luxury are well provided in these caravans which have direct sea views, parking adjacent to each mobile home, private verandas with patio furniture. All caravans have gas central heating, double glazing, flat-screen TV/DVD in the lounge. For more luxury the master bedroom has a flat-screen TV and a kitchen with contemporary fittings and appliances. Two bedroom caravans have a double and a twin room, shower and toilet, whilst three bedroomcaravans have a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, a shower and toilet and additional separate WC. Crisp cotton bedding and a welcome pack, make Platinum holidays that little bit more special.

Gold - Complete with a choice of ultra flexible and spacious two and three bedroom options, these holiday homes have a clean contemporary interior with elegant features such as vaulted ceilings and fully fitted wardrobes. Home from home comforts are plentiful too, to make a firm favourite with every member of the family. Facilities include one spacious double bedroom, one or two twin bedrooms, double glazing, central heating, flat screen TV/DVD, fully equipped kitchen, fridge/freezer and full shower room.

Pet Premium - Equally luxurious to the Gold caravan, the pet friendly offers comfort for all the family including up to two pets*. As pet owners we understand leaving a pet at home is hard and can be costly. So we have top holiday homes you will be pleased to take the whole family. Double bedrooms with one or two twin rooms, double glazing, central heating, flat screen TV/DVD and a fully fitted kitchen ensure a comfortable stay for all. These holiday homes have a veranda for pets and their owners to enjoy. Access Plus - The Access Plus+ is in a perfect location for easy access to the shop and reception, with a spacious pitch at the end of a row, this holiday home is suitable for those with limited mobility who want to enjoy the freedom of a Holiday Park environment or for those with a young family, needing more spacious accommodation. Push-chairs and other bulky, toddler orientated items are easily accommodated in the Access Plus and there is more space available for toddlers to roam in the comfort of a well equipped holiday home. With ramped access, a wider entrance and wide internal doors, this holiday home would suit wheel-chair users and parents with young children. Bed Linen is provided.

Touring & Motorhomes

Pakefield's landscaped touring area is located a short walk from the beach. It offers 12 touring pitches on level ground, accessed by a tarmac road. The pitches all feature hook-ups and are serviced by a modern toilet block. The touring area is next to the main holiday home site and this offers the convenience of a shop, bar, as well as a heated outdoor swimming (open 21 May to end of September). Pakefield village offers a variety of shops, while a Morrisons supermarket is less than half a mile away. Lowestoft itself is a traditional seaside town. Pakefield has a lovely feel to it: friendly staff, modern facilities, attention to detail – all in all a delightful campsite, with lots to offer families and couples alike. The touring area, with its own amenity block, is just inside the park’s perimeter fence with easy approach to the beach footpath.

Its location allows access to all the amenities. The pitches are set on grass in two parallel rows facing across an asphalt strip. There is some new tree planting which will add to the attractiveness of the site. The key-pad entry shower block has accessible ramped access, is modern, well serviced and pristine. Laundry facilities are available too.
