Nunnington Farm camping site is delightfully situated within a stroll or cycle ride of West Wittering village and the sandy Blue Flag beach. The camp site is a family run establishment and is set in five acres of flat well maintained land. Each pitch is marked out and electricity points are available on many of the plots.

The campsite is situated seven miles from Chichester: take the A286, then the B2179 to West Wittering, we are 200 yards left before the shops. There are signs half a mile from the site and at the end of the drive. The site has a modern central toilet block with flush toilets, hot showers and a baby’s bath. There is a washing up area and washing machines and dryers. We also have facilities for the disabled.

All guests have access to our pet park with farm animals such as pygmy goats, Dexter cattle, Wensleydale sheep, chickens as well as a horse, donkey and miniature Shetland ponies. Feel free to have a good look around. Dogs are welcome on the camp site but strictly on a lead at all times. However, we have set aside an area of the farm for guests to walk their dogs off the lead. The camp site is open to tents, touring caravans and motor homes from Easter until the second week in October. This camp site is for couples and families only and we will not accept groups or unaccompanied youths. No commercial vehicles.

We take a minimum of a three night stay (Friday –Monday) over the Easter, May Day, Spring and August Bank Holidays. If you arrive on a Friday, we take a minimum of a two night stay.

The bathing beach is awarded the European Blue Flag for water quality.

There is a beach safety team on hand as well as a safety boat. St John’s Ambulance are in attendance on Summer weekends

There is a private windsurfing club with daily membership available.

Children can fish for crabs in the many salt water pools that lie amongst the sand dunes.

The beach has a large car park open 365 days a year but guests of Nunnington Farm are recommended to walk or cycle to the beach.

Although the beach can get busy, if you are prepared to walk a few hundred yards you can get away from the rush quite easily.

Itchenor Harbour, 2 miles away, has a public slip way and from here you can take a boat tour around the surrounding harbours such as Bosham and Dell Quay.

The Cathedral town of Chichester is seven miles away. The Georgian town has a picturesque centre and is home to Chichester Festival Theatre.

Earnley Butterflies, Birds and Beasts is a fun day out for the whole family to enjoy whatever the weather, just 10 minutes South of Chichester, West Sussex.

Fishbourne Roman Palace is within seven miles of the campsite. There is a remarkable display of mosaic floors as well as the recreation of the original formal gardens.

Goodwood Racecourse is a fourteen mile drive from West Wittering

You could also take a day trip to the Isle of Wight or visit the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum.

Four miles away in Hunston you can play golf or go horse-riding.
