New Barns Caravan Park is located just outside the village of Arnside, (Lancashire), in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our park is positioned alongside natural woodland, in between New Barns Bay and White Creek.

The Park offers you the opportunity of a very relaxing lifestyle, with a friendly and informal feeling; it has been a family run business since the 1940’s. Our season runs from the 1st of March through to the end of October each year. We are a non residential holiday park.

In total we have approximately 145 pitches which hold a combination of static caravans and lodges. The Bob-in Café at the entrance to the park offers park members and visitors the chance to stop for breakfast, or if you just fancy a treat; coffee and a slice of homemade cake, (of which there is a tempting selection). There is also a wide range of options on the menu if you fancy lunch with your friends and family.

You can pass your time winding down from the stresses of modern day life by exploring the local area. You will find numerous walks with breathtaking views over the estuary. If you are someone who is a little more active then you can walk up Arnside Knott (which overlooks the park), it has a summit elevation of 159 metres, with spectacular views over Morecambe bay, (on a clear day you will see across to the Southern Lakeland fells and over to North Yorkshire).

Whether you walk along the coast, climb up the Knott or stroll through woodland and fields, you may be treated to all kinds of wonderful flora and fauna from Orchids and Bluebells to butterflies (in particular Scotch Argus, in July and August, and the High Brown Fritillary – on the Knott) birdlife, water fowl and waders. We have even seen the odd Otter and grey seal in New Barns Bay.

Look out for the “Arnside bore” too, you will get a great view of this from New Barns Bay especially if you are here at the park on a day with a predicted tide of 9.5m or above.
