Kingfisher is a 5 Star (Gold Award) Holiday Park with 100 caravan holiday homes, set amongst and surrounded by fields and woodland with a summer season that runs from Late February to early November. Although in the main we are a peaceful park in a picturesque countryside / canal-side setting, we do have facilities including Crown Green Bowling and an all weather Tennis Court. There is an outdoor adventure play area for the younger ones as well as a small games room with pool table, etc. Fishing is also available on the Nature Reserve lake (free of charge to people staying on the park - plenty of other fishing is also available nearby). An Indoor Swimming Pool and Café are also available just inside the park entrance and there are a choice of indoor and outdoor seating areas, just right for those long sunny days. A lakeside walk and bird hide is available at the Nature Reserve adjacent to the park. We also have more walks and other features in the adjacent park owned woods and fields. The Swan Inn is just outside our entrance overlooking the canal basin with all its boating activity, whilst the nearby village of Alrewas can cater for your everyday needs with 3 pubs, a restaurant, a small supermarket, a takeaway and shops selling local foods and crafts. A new supermarket is also available at nearby Fradley Village. As a non residential park catering mainly for private owners, commercial subletting is not allowed, however your caravan can be used on several occasions each year by family and friends. All caravan bases are very modern and are complete with electricity, water, drainage and piped gas.  A wireless (Wi-Fi) internet system is in place. Gas and electricity are paid for as used. Gas is piped which is cheaper, has the added advantage of never running out as well as removing the inconvenience of cylinder changeovers etc. Both are billed annually with the average electricity bill last year amounting to less than £60. The average gas bill was less than £85. Our site fees for 2021 are £2295 including VAT & rates. It is important to note that anyone buying a holiday home part way through a season would not pay the full years fees and would only pay pro rata.
