About Harford Bridge Holiday Park

Long established holiday park set in Dartmoor National Park, just 2 miles from the bustling market town of Tavistock. The River Tavy forms a boundary offering riverside and other spacious level camping pitches and a special replica Shepherd's Hut.

Ideally located for walking on Dartmoor, touring Devon, Cornwall and the Tamar Valley.

Open from 14th March to 1st November. Self-catering caravan holiday homes, lodges and cottage are available all year. There is an abundance of trees, shrubs and hedging, which is haven for wildlife including the free running park ducks. Dogs are welcome if kept under control; there is a separate dog exercise field where they can run free.

With 16.5 acres, the park provides 120 touring pitches well spaced on a level grassy meadow with some shade from mature trees and others recently planted; 52 pitches have 16A electrical hook-ups and 11 have multi-services, five with hardstanding.

For 2020 there is a landscaped separate area of the park to the front and side of these lodges that includes a BBQ patio and outdoor seating and we have added two new StudioLodge2+s ('Mayflower Lodge' and 'Edgecumbe Lodge') - you can find these elsewhere on our website. The StudioLodge2s are amazing spaces and, like The Doctor's Time Machine, are a really efficient use of the 140 sq. ft. inside space that includes a studio bedroom/lounge, shower room and kitchen area.
