The park is owned and personally maintained by the Stocks family - the family business having started with the development of Greenwood Leghe in 1962. There are splendid views across the fields to the mountain of Ingleborough (one of the 'Three Peaks') and the surrounding limestone fells. There are several footpaths leading directly from the park - the summit of Ingleborough can be reached from one of them.
