Surrounded by peaceful woodland, Goodenbergh is a haven for wildlife, including buzzards, woodpeckers, treecreeper and many species of butterflies. There is a small farm attached to the park on which can be found Alpacas, which are kept for their fibre, there are also Goats, pigs and shetland ponies.

Goodenbergh Holiday Park is located near Ingleton, a popular tourist destination thanks to a few fantastic natural features. These features include the White Scar Caves (the longest show cave in the UK), Ingleton Waterfall walk and the Yorkshire Three Peaks (Ingleborough, Pen-Y-Ghent and Whernside). Ingleton is also just down the road from the famous Ribblehead Viaduct, part of the Settle to Carlisle line.
