You’ll find this park in the village of Cove, which is located between Farnborough and Fleet. The M3 is in easy striking distance, as is the southwest railway line where trains run regularly between Weymouth and London Waterloo. You don’t have to go far to find open countryside, with woodlands close by and the popular Fleet pond.
Just down the road from the park is Farnborough, a large town with restaurants and a redeveloped shopping centre. Farnborough is actually a paradise for those who love aviation as the town is best-known for its association with events such as the Farnborough Airshow, Farnborough Aerodrome, Royal Aircraft establishment and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch. The town is also filled with curious stories and historic landmarks – the River Blackwater for instance, on the Hampshire/Surrey border, was the location of the first international prize fight between Tom Sayers and John C. Heenan, which took place near the location of the Ship Inn pub.
One of the UK’s biggest Marks and Spencer’s is also just a short drive away in Camberley, where you can find a huge array of restaurants and high street shops as well as cinema and theatre and plenty of other things to do and visit.
The residents of this stunning park are actually a green-fingered lot, having won a number of local and national gardening competitions. Therefore, blooming flowers and mature trees are the first thing to greet you at this well-established residential park.
