Bovisand Lodge is a small beachside Holiday Park on the South Devon coast, nestling in an unspoilt wooded valley and opening onto a safe sandy beach, with stunning sea views of Cornwall.

We offer 11 premium holiday rental caravans, 2 luxury lodges and 3 heritage apartments. You also have the opportunity to own your own caravan holiday home.

The Park has been owned by the Hart family since 1958. Three generations have sensitively developed it into the 4 star holiday park it is today. At Bovisand you will not find a clubhouse or organised entertainment, instead the emphasis is on conservation of the natural environment, creating a haven for wildlife and peaceful surroundings, which is endorsed by our gold David Bellamy award.

Our facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, a small children's play park, table tennis,football/badminton nets, fields for rounders and kite flying. Enjoy the goats and chickens on our woodland walk. There is a golf course, riding stable; marina and watersports centre, all within a 10 minute drive. Bovisand is also centrally located to explore Plymouth's Historic Barbican and the Hoe, Dartmoor; South Devon and the historic fishing villages of Cornwall.

Holiday Park Facilities

Facilities at the Bovisand Lodge Holiday Park include an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna which is for the exclusive use of Bovisand Lodge holiday makers, residents and their guests. Comprehensive launderette facilities. A children's play park with a trim trail, climbing tower, slide, springy and swings. Table tennis table. The badminton/Footballs nets are a great place for children to play. There is also plenty of open space for the more energetic who might like a game of rounders, football or cricket.

The beach is around two minutes walk from the holiday park with its luxury caravans, lodges and apartments. It is very safe for bathing and at low tide there is a large expanse of sand with rock pools where many happy hours can be spent searching for crabs and shrimps.

Try our brass rubbing trail in our woodland walk, where you will be rewarded with stunning views across the park and over to Cornwall. You will meet our resident goats and chickens, who are very friendly and love to be fed.

Situated on the coastal path we are in an ideal location for walking, there are numerous footpaths and cliff walks, many with magnificent views of Plymouth Sound and the Cornish Coast. There is an abundance of wildlife in the vicinity including rare birds such as buzzards and hawks, foxes, badgers, pheasants, ducks and their young in the spring.

At Bovisand Lodge Holiday Park you can be assured that your family will find our caravans fitted out to the highest standards. From luxury kitchens and bathrooms, spacious bedrooms to generous living areas, all planned to give you a relaxing holiday. All our mobile homes are 12ft wide, under three years old and have their own picnic bench for al fresco dining.

All caravans have double-glazing and central heating so are ideal for year round accommodation.
