Situated within the private grounds of Athelington Hall in the North Suffolk countryside, our log cabins are the perfect reason to escape the pressures of urban life and embrace a well-earned mini-break. Moreover, our log cabins can also be used as a base to explore the nearby Suffolk Heritage Coast and the Norfolk Broads.

Log Cabin Holidays are suitable for honeymoon couples and families, children and pets have plenty of safe space to run around and explore. We can provide an idyllic, quiet break in the Suffolk countryside and are close to Norfolk and the heritage coast. The Log Cabin complex is secluded and peaceful, and is great for special birthdays and occasions. The atmosphere at Log Cabin Holidays is one of the more romantic areas in East Anglia, a truly unique experience in the UK.

Athelington Hall a working farm, which dates back to 1620. An impressive moat and acres of open fields surround the 17th century Hall, complete with a fine avenue of oak trees. It is situated in an idyllic location in North Suffolk, the surrounding area being a haven for wildlife. Wonderful walks in unspoilt countryside unfold virtually from the doorstep.

Our Log Cabins are situated within the picturesque grounds of Athelington Hall, a working farm, which dates back to 1620. An impressive moat and acres of open fields surround the 17th century Hall, complete with a fine avenue of oak trees. It is situated in an idyllic location in North Suffolk, the surrounding area being a haven for wildlife. Wonderful walks in unspoilt countryside unfold virtually from the doorstep.

Our log cabins are perfectly located with access to various towns and traditional villages. The popular market town of Framlingham is only 15 minutes away, home to a superb medieval castle and a traditional Saturday market. The breath taking Suffolk Heritage Coast is only 30 minutes drive, easily reachable are both Aldeburgh and Southwold.

Other attractions include Orford castle and Minsmere Bird Reserve. If it’s the towns or cities you are looking for then Norwich, Ipswich, Woodbridge, Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds are all within 30 miles.

There is no public transport in the village so having your own transport is essential. There is ample parking for several vehicles with each of the lodges. All of our lodges are well appointed with fantastic field and countryside views, perfect for a peaceful, away from it all rural holiday.
