Ashfield Caravan Park is privately owned and run by Stuart and Sally Bulmer and is centrally located in the village of Kirby Misperton in Ryedale between the market towns of Pickering and Malton both of which are approximately 6 miles in opposite directions.

Scarborough, Whitby and Filey (20 miles) offer splendid beaches, all the seaside facilities you would expect and excellent beach and sea fishing.

The historic city of York is 19 miles distant complete with Minster, National Railway Museum and superb shopping opportunities.

The stately home of Castle Howard nestling in the Howardian Hills and Nunnington Hall are close by as too is the North York Moors Steam Railway in Pickering.

And for those with an appetite for fun and thrills, Flamingo Land is on the doorstep.

Fishing

We have a private and established course fishing lake with good lake access. Mature trees and shrubs surround the lake giving an abundance of natural fly life.

The lake is well stocked with Carp, Rudd, Roach and Perch and is available to fish from dusk ‘til dawn. Ask about our day, weekly or season tickets.

Static Caravans

For 2015 new static caravans will be available, trade-in tourers and statics will be considered against any new purchase.

The Park is open from 1 March to 3 January each year.

Please note – no sub-letting is allowed and residential use is not permitted.

Log Cabins

The fishing lake is situated in a secluded part of the Park surrounded by mature shrubs and trees. We have obtained planning permission to erect carefully positioned log cabins around the lake. We anticipate this tranquil setting proving an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and quiet.
