Welcome to Alderwood self-catering holiday lodges Norfolk. The holiday site has been in the family since 1948 although the family history dates back in the village to the 1800’s! Our three timber holiday lodges and one glamping pod are set in 9 acres of tranquil woodland & grassland, beside the river “Little Ouse”. We are on the edge of the Norfolk and Suffolk border with its unique flora & fauna. The the market towns of Diss and Thetfordand Bury St Edmunds are 8 to 16 miles away. Come to Norfolk and visit us soon for a unique log cabin holiday you will love. With privacy at each lodge and space to roam and walk around the site and along the river, with a bird hide on site to enjoy the great wildlife we have. We also have EV car charging facilities at each lodge except the glamping pod, where you can use the owners EV charging unit.
